User-Friendly Synchro Monitor Mode
This mode extends battery life and the potential number of total shots by keeping the monitor off before shooting. The monitor turns on automatically when the shutter button is pressed to preview a shot or operate the zoom - and remains on for several seconds after you take a picture.
